Canton police have closed off three stretches of ice-covered roadways because cars are getting stuck.

In a statement, the township said the conditions are so bad that fire, police and tow truck crews can’t get through. Wayne County has been contacted and barricades have been placed at the closures.

  • Ridge Road between Ford and Joy Roads
  • Napier Road between Ford and Ann Arbor Roads
  • Warren Road west of Ridge Road to Napier Road

It wasn’t clear when the roadways would reopen.

Canton will update the road conditions on their Facebook and Twitter accounts.
