Book signings for 'The Good Eggs' series

The author of this children's book series stopped by Live in the D to share what it's all about and how she came up with the idea.

Author S. Ciara Mitaro will be signing her books in the "The Good Eggs" series at multiple locations in Metro Detroit.

The author created the series that features eggs as characters to teach children lessons. Book one in the series is The Good Eggs, which teaches children about 12 virtues. The second book is The Good Eggs Travel the World. This version aims to teach children about diversity.

Book signings will be at the following locations:

Thursday, April 17: Cupcake Station at 301 W. Nine Mile in downtown Ferndale from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 pm

Friday, April 18: Cupcake Station at 136 N. Old Woodward in downtown Birmingham from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 pm

Saturday, April 19: Cupcake Station at 205 S. Main in downtown Rochester from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 pm

Saturday, April 19: Cupcake Station at 318 Main in downtown Plymouth from 5:00 – 7:00 pm

Each time a book from "The Good Eggs" series is sold, a copy is donated to a children's charity.
