A bomb squad was called by Detroit police after a grenade was found in the backyard of a home on the lower east side of Detroit.

DETROIT -

A bomb squad was called by Detroit police after a grenade was found in the backyard of a home on the lower east side of Detroit.

The incident happened after 9:30 p.m. Friday at a home at 334 Lenox St.

It's unknown currently how the grenade ended up in the backyard.

No other details were provided.
