DETROIT – Autopalooza 2013 lineup of events has been announced and it promises to make for a summer auto enthusiasts won't forget!
The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau (DMCVB) and the MotorCities National Heritage Area announced the lineup of this year's Autopalooza, a series of world-class automotive cruises, races and shows that take place from May through September in and around Metro Detroit.

Autopalooza 2013 sounds off with the highly anticipated Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix May 31-June 2.
The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix returns to the Motor City, featuring the IZOD IndyCar Series, GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, and Pirelli World Challenge Championship Series. In a partnership with MotorCity Casino Hotel, the Grand Prix will feature an entertainment stage with local and national musical acts. Grand Prix will also include a "Comerica Bank Free Prix Day" Friday, May 31, where race fans can enjoy free admission to the action.
"We're extremely excited to host the return of the Grand Prix to kick of Autopalooza", says Executive VP and COO of the DMCVB Michael O'Callaghan. "This event has a hugely positive economic impact on Metro Detroit. The DMCVB has calculated the annual revenue generated from Autopalooza events continues to exceed $100 million."
