DETROIT -

An arrest has been made in connection to the brutal beating and stabbing of a 64-year-old man at a Detroit gas station.

The Detroit Police Surveillance Team tracked down the man on surveillance video.

The suspect apparently jumped from a 2nd-story window while trying to escape from officers. They eventually caught up to him and made the arrest.

The victim, a grandfather, has been improving at a hospital. He may be able to help police identify the man in custody.
