A wood glue spill on I-275 shuts down an area of the freeway.

CANTON, Mich. -

The northbound lanes of I-275 between Ford and Ann Arbor roads were closed for nearly 10 hours on Friday because of a hazmat situation.

Michigan State Police said a semi-truck began leaking a combustible resin -- or glue -- at about 7 a.m.

The stretch of roadway didn't reopen until 4 p.m.

No one was hurt.
