A Wyandotte woman is offering a $5,000 reward for the return of her missing purse.

The black Chanel purse with silver trim was last seen in a Wyandotte Henry Ford Hospital parking lot near Biddle Avenue on Tuesday.

The woman says the purse likely fell out of her vehicle moments before she drove away from the parking lot. When she returned, the purse was nowhere to be found.

The missing purse contains jewelry that has a high sentimental value to the owner.

Police say the woman had just gotten back from vacation. She didn't want her jewelry stolen inside her luggage, so she put the jewelry in her purse.

On the way home, she was called to the hospital for a family emergency where she lost the purse.

She is hoping anyone who knows where the purse is will contact the Wyandotte Police Department at 734-324-4405.

The woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, said the reward would be paid with "no questions asked."
