Temperatures reaching near 70 on Monday, showers and thunderstorms in the evening...

We will get a little bit of everything in the week ahead, starting with a warm Monday. Temperatures start off in the low 40s and soar into the upper 60s with some neighborhoods reaching near 70 degrees. By the late afternoon, an approaching cold front will bring scattered rain and thundershowers that will last into the evening.

You can expect a few showers Tuesday morning but most of the day will be dry with temps near 60 degrees. More wet weather is expected Wednesday with light rain showers and heavier rain will arrive Thursday and Friday. We could see more Flood Watches and Warnings in SE Michigan midweek.
