Video shows man wanted for Warren restaurant robberies

Robber gets away with small amount of cash, but leaves extensive damage at Doc's Good Food, Subway in Warren

WARREN, Mich. The surveillance video shows him clear as day.

It was early Tuesday morning at a strip mall near Hoover Road and Interstate 696 in Warren when surveillance videos captured a man rob two restaurants. The video shows him throw a rock and beat on the door as he busted into Doc's Good Food.

"I feel very violated. Frustrated," said Linda Glover, owner of Doc's.

Glover and her family already survived a fire at their restaurant which shut them down for six months. How much more can they take?

Uncut: Video of Warren restaurant robberies

"You feel like you're just getting yourself together, and this happens," she said.

The man on video not only busted through the door, he went for the cash register. He tore it out and then took off.

He pulled the same stunt next door at a Subway restaurant. While he got very little money from the cash registers, he caused hundreds of dollars worth of damage to both restaurants.

"You wonder what is going on in their mind, that they should be free to take out hard-earned money and effort, and destroy it," said Glover.

Both exterior and interior cameras show the man's face. Police hope someone recognizes him.

Anyone with information on the man in the video is asked to contact the Warren Police Department at 586-574-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAK-UP.
