ANN ARBOR, Mich. -

The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor issued a crime alert Tuesday about multiple home invasions at off-campus homes.

According to police, six home invasions have been reported in recent days near the campus' southeast side. In all cases, entry was gained through unlocked doors or windows.

Laptop computers and other electronics were stolen from the homes.

Police are investigating whether the break-ins and robberies are related.
