TROY, Mich. -

Parents of students in Troy schools have been told about a stranger danger incident Friday morning.

Three middle school students, all girls, were waiting for a bus at 7:30 a.m. at Hampton Lane and Beach Road, Big Beaver, Coolidge and Adams Roads.

The bus driver noticed a Jeep parked nearby with its headlights pointed directly at the girls. The bus driver saw a lone white man in the driver's seat of the Jeep. He did not approach the girls, but as soon as the girls boarded the bus, the Jeep drove away.

The incident was reported to Troy police, who are investigating.
