MUSCAMOOT BAY, Mich. – A 55-year-old Troy man died after jumping off a boat into Muscamoot Bay Saturday on Lake St. Clair
Kenneth Badertscher resurfaced unresponsive.
Good Samaritans and rescue workers tried to revive Badertscher but were unsuccessful.
The St. Clair County Sheriff's Department said he jumped from the boat, severely injuring himself, and drowned.
The incident is under investigation.
