Tickets on sale for NCAA tournament

From basketball powerhouses to upset-minded newbies, here are the teams to watch in this year's NCAA Tournament according to college basketball analysts with NBC Sports, ESPN and other outlets.

Auburn Hills, Mich. -

Oakland University and The Palace of Auburn Hills have announced that additional single-session tickets for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship 2nd and 3rd round games will be released Tuesday at 12:00 p.m.   

The sessions and prices are:

Thursday, March 21

Session 1

Michigan State vs. Valparaiso

Memphis vs. Middle Tennessee/ St. Mary's

$75 and $50

Thursday, March 21

Session 2

Michigan vs. South Dakota State

Virginia Commonwealth vs. Akron

$80 and  $55


Saturday, March 23

 Session 3

Winners from Session 1

Winners from Session 2

$95 and $70


The NCAA tournament 2nd and  3rd round practices are open and free to the general public.

Practices for participating teams on Wednesday, March 20 run from 12:00-7:20 p.m.

Fans who want to attend can park for free and enter through the West Atrium entrance of The Palace.
