Temps inch upward Thursday

DETROIT -

It will be dry and cold again across the Detroit Area Thursday morning with temperatures starting in the middle and upper 20s.  More blue skies will appear in the afternoon and it will not be as chilly as the beginning of the week.  Highs will be near 50 degrees.

Thursday night will be fair and chilly with lows in the 30s.

Friday will have higher temps and great weather for high school playoff football.  Highs will be in the low 50s, which is average for early November.

Veterans' Day weekend will see higher temperatures for commemorations and ceremonies.  Highs will be near and above 60 degrees Saturday and Sunday.
