Ted Nugent is never shy about taking a stance in America's gun conversation.
This time the Detroit native is comparing gun owners to an American civil rights icon, Rosa Parks.
"There will come a time when the gun owners of America, the law-abiding gun owners of America, will be the Rosa Parks and we will sit down on the front seat of the bus, case closed," Nugent said during an interview with WorldNetDaly.
Rosa Parks is best known for her monumental act of protesting segregation when she refused to sit at the back of a Montgomery, Al. bus in 1955. The move has been recognized as one of the more influential nonviolent civil rights acts in the 20th century.
Nugent was answering a question about gun confiscation plans allegedly being put together by a White House gun violence task force.
