CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

Clinton Township police say a woman who is accused of passing off two cans of spaghetti sauce as a bomb during a bank robbery earlier this week has been caught.

A warrant for bank robbery and an explosives charged was issued for Ophelia Amelia Neal after Sunday's incident at the 5/3 Bank on 15 Mile Road.

Neal allegedly allegedly walked into bank and said she had a bomb in her bag. She got away with an undisclosed amount of money but police later found the bag and discovered it was only sauce.

Police said she was taken into custody Friday in Mount Clemens.

She is a parole absconder who has previous convictions for assault and various drug possessions.
