Partly sunny skies Sunday, thunderstorms moving through Monday...

Sunday is the start of a brief warming trend. We will see partly sunny skies early Sunday followed by increasing high clouds and highs in the low 50s. There is a slight chance for a few very light rain showers by mid-afternoon, but don’t cancel your plans. We will be well into the mid 60s on Monday, but there’s a line of rain and thundershowers moving through in the afternoon. Those showers will linger into early Tuesday before a brief break from the rain.

We will see more wet weather on Wednesday cooling us back into the low 50s. And Thursday looks like a soaker with rain and thunder as highs climb into the mid 60s. Even though we see periodic warmer days, it doesn’t look like a real steady spring warm up will move in anytime soon. In fact, we could see another wintry mix by Friday with the passage of a cold front.
