Celebrating a birthday makes you more prone for heart attacks and strokes

DETROIT – As we get older we tend to start disliking our birthdays.

Now a new study suggests people are 14 percent more likely to die on their birthdays than on other days.

The extra risk may be because as we age we are more prone for heart attacks and strokes.

The big day can be stressful, especially for seniors and men who are more prone to suicides and falls.

One possible reason for all this could be that people having medical problems ignore them on days when they're celebrating.
