Special Peacoat, scarf for the holidays

Rethink what constitutes a Holiday Color Scheme. Substitute fuschia for red, like this Peacoat and scarf pairing from Francesca's at The Village of Rochester Hills. As a result, these classic garments instantly become the coolest, cool weather combo.

The coat is regularly $98.00, but on sale through Monday, Dec. 17th for $39.00. The multi-pleat indoor/outdoor scarf is $24.00.

Coincidentally, the scarf, in emerald green, is perfect for The Holidays, but it's also one of the hottest, upcoming shades for 2013.

After The Holidays, keep your creative forces flowing. Wear the fuschia Peacoat with other jolts of unexpected color. Try it with red, orange, purple, teal, and turquoise. Or, run with it in the opposite direction--pair it with deep neutrals like charcoal and brown. Take it a step further and wear it with camel and olive. Then, go all the way to the edge and try a Camo/Combo. The juxtaposition of intense color and a little camouflage print will signal fearless fashion and a personality to match.

Bold color is liberating, not limiting. Wear it. Work it. Own it.
