Security guard shot during robbery at Inkster business

Surveillance video from the business shows a woman answer the door. A man and a woman, both with guns, entered. They put a gun to the woman's head and she fell to the floor.

INKSTER, Mich. -

Inkster robbery 2 Inkster police say a security guard was shot Thursday during a robbery at a business in the 20000 block of Kean Street just south of Michigan Avenue.

The business is run out of a bungalow house. It is a tax preparation business.

Surveillance video from the business shows a woman answer the door. A man and a woman, both with guns, entered. They put a gun to the woman's head and she fell to the floor.

The gunman entered the kitchen where he was confronted by the security guard. The guard was shot in the leg but was able to return fire.

The gunman and his female accomplice fled the business on foot.

Police are working to track down the man and woman. They were in the house for about 3 or 4 minutes.
