Saturday snow diminishes, 1-2 inches possible

Temperatures rising to near 30 by afternoon

Steady light snow during the first half of the day will diminish through the afternoon Saturday, with total accumulations of an inch or two.

Temperatures will rise from the mid-20s to a high near 30. Wind should be relatively light today, so wind chill shouldn't be a problem.

Roads may be tricky, but it'll be a great day to go out and play in the snow! Evening flurries should end, and we may even see some break up of the cloud cover, late. Lows in the upper teens to near 20.

Then expect partly to mostly sunny skies Sunday, with highs in the upper 20s to near 30.  Right now, I don't see any weather problems for New Year's Eve or New Year's Day!
