DTE Energy confirms that problems at a Troy transformer have caused a power outage near 14 Mile and John R. roads in Troy.

TROY, Michigan -

DTE Energy confirms that problems at a Troy transformer have caused a power outage near 14 Mile and John R. roads in Troy.

The outage has caused the Oakland Mall and other nearby businesses to close. The outage also affects the Lexington Village Apartments.

DTE crews are on scene working on restoring power.

DTE offers a power outage map to help customers track outages.
