GARDEN CITY, Mich. -

Despite being severely damaged, Willy the Pig is home.

The plump and popular Garden City sculpture, worth $6,000, went missing in June.

Police said it was recovered Friday in the yard of a home on Whitmore Lake. It is missing three legs and his snout is damaged.

Lat week, police said the base of the sculpture was found in a field with other fragments near Mallard Lake in Livingston County's Green Oak Township.
The sculpture is by artist Sophie Marie.

Marie leased her sculpture to the Downtown Development Authority for two years.
