DETROIT -

An exclusive Local 4/Detroit News poll shows President Barack Obama has about a 5 percent lead over Republican Mitt Romney among voters in Michigan.

However, the Glengariff Group's poll also shows the two candidates are statistically tied among men.

The President holds a 12 point lead among women voters in Michigan.

As for the issue of gay marriage, those in favor have less than a one point margin over those opposed.
