Police in Brighton Township are working to identify a man who they say robbed a PNC bank Monday morning on West Grand River Avenue.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department says the man entered the bank armed with a dark colored semi-automatic handgun. He demanded money from the teller.

The bank robbery suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. A Sheriff's K-9 team tried to track down the man but was not successful.

The suspect was wearing a baggy black or dark blue and tan or gray colored hooded coat with dark wind breaker-type pants and dark gloves. The coat had black or blue and white stripes wrapped around the elbows. He also was wearing a dark scarf around his face and sunglasses.

He was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with a small build.

Anyone with information on the robbery or who can identify the suspect in the photos and description should contact the Sheriff's Department at 517-540-799 or call Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAK-UP.
