Police search for carjacker of a Freightliner truck early Monday morning

Romulus, Mich. -

Romulus police say a tractor with a white trailer attached to it was carjacked early this morning around 3:20 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Wick road and Inkster road.

The suspect approached the driver and reportedly fired shots. The driver was unharmed but the suspect was able to get away with the tractor-trailer.

The truck is described as white with the words "Bucks Inc." written on the side of the trailer.

It is not known at this time what was inside the trailer.
