Police discover stolen property ring in Tecumseh, Michigan

3 in custody after police discover more than 300 items suspected to be stolen at a Tecumseh residence

TECUMSEH, Mich. – Police say two men and one adolescent were arrested after more than 300 items suspected to be stolen, were discovered at a residence in Tecumseh.

Most of the recovered items are believed to be stolen from cars in Lenawee, Monroe and Washtenaw Counties.

Police say they went to the home to investigate an unrelated juvenile probation violation when the stolen property was discovered.

A juvenile male was arrested on the spot for probation violation. Two men were also later questioned and arrested.

Investigators say many of the car break-ins have yet to be reported to police.

If anyone from Lenawee, Monroe or Washtenaw Counties had property stolen from a car recently they are asked to contact their particular police department to file a report.

Police say the recovered property was listed and can be matched to items reported stolen.
