TAYLOR, Mich. -

Taylor police say three men armed with sledgehammers entered a JCPenney store last week just before closing.

The men went straight for the jewelry display cases in the Southland Shopping Center store on Eureka Road.

The men smashed the glass cases and made off with more than a dozen diamonds, police said.

Police are working with the store to identify the thieves who were caught on surveillance video.
