Police: Gunman Ties Up Store Employees During Robbery

Money Stolen From Southfield CVS Pharmacy Store

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Southfield police said two CVS pharmacy employees were violently robbed Tuesday by a gunman.

Police said a man armed with a handgun entered the store on Greenfield Road just before 8 a.m. and ordered the two employees to the ground and tied them up. Police said the gunman took the employees cellphones and all of the money out of the store?s safe.

Police described the gunman as a college-aged looking black man between 18 and 25 years old. They said he was wearing a gray hoodie and a gray ski mask with black pants and black work boots.

Police have released images of the gunman taken on the store?s security cameras.

The two employees were not seriously hurt.
