PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

Plymouth Township police say they have increased patrols in one area of the city after three separate reports of a "suspicious" man following female high school students from their homes to a bus stop.

Police said the incidents happened in the last week near Haggerty Road and Ann Arbor Trail, when a man reportedly followed the students to a bus stop at Gilbert and Morgan.

All of the incidents happened between 6 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. and the man fled on foot, police said.

Police didn't have a detailed description of the man but said he was white, between 40 and 50 years old, tall, thin and with possibly sandy brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Plymouth Township Police Department at 734-354-3243.
