LIVONIA, Mich. -

Eastern Michigan University is hosting on of the state’s largest job fairs on Friday in Livonia.

The Michigan Collegiate Job Fair is open to college seniors, graduates, and alumni of Michigan’s two or four year colleges. Some of the employers planning on attending include Quiken Loans, IBM, Target, Hewlett Packard, and various other agencies.

"Employers participating in this fair are looking to hire entry-level candidates with degrees in business, liberal arts, technology, engineering, human services and allied health," said Ebony Jones, senior corporate relations manager at Eastern Michigan University.

Jones recommends candidates should dress for success; bring approximately 25 copies of their resume; and be prepared to discuss their skills. Registration for the event is $15.

The job fair will take place from 9a.m. to 3p.m. at Burton Manor, 27777 Schoolcraft Road in Livonia.
