New search for Bianca Jones, possible charges against dad

This week could be the turning point in the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Bianca Jones. A new community group is putting together a plan for a new search for the two-year-old Detroit girl and charges are expected to be filed against Bianca's father, D'Andre Lane.

Bianca Jones disappeared on Dec. 2 without a trace and now a new effort is underway to find the little girl. Her father claims he was carjacked and then Bianca was taken.

"I'm not here to try and solve a crime, we're not here to confront anybody, we want Bianca back," said Brenda Hill with the Detroit Coalition Against Violence.

Her team along with community groups will be out Monday looking for Bianca.

"We have a baby missing in Detroit, that doesn't happen and we're not going to sleep easily while she's missing," said Hill.

"My point of being out there is to make sure that people don't go by what they think is happening, get out and get involved," said Robert Robinson with It Takes a Village Y'all.

In the meantime, charges could soon be handed down in the case. Last week, the Detroit Police Department sent a warrant to the prosecutor and insiders said her father D'Andre Lane is named. His attorney said Lane's thoughts and prayers are with Bianca and he is hoping for her safe return. Lane's attorney also said D'Andre continues to cooperate with police.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
