Neighborhood Garage Sale Raising Money For Charity

Residents Of The Brookwood Subdivision Holding Sale Oct. 22 For Make A Difference Day

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Residents of the Brookwood subdivision in Rochester Hills will be holding their annual Make A Difference Day Flea Market Oct. 22.

The sale is held each year for charity. This year all proceeds will be donated to the Baldwin Center, the Michigan Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, Paint a Miracle in Rochester and the Woman's Fun of the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester.

Once the sale is done, the left over items are donated to the Salvation Army.

The event will be held at the Brookwood clubhouse, 998 Brookwood Lane in Rochester Hills, off Tienken between Brewster and Livernois. Admission is free and it is open between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

To help with the effort, tear-down and cleaning will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday. Call 248-652-0258 to volunteer.
