DETROIT -

Students and motorists wake up to soupy, warm conditions again with lows near 70 and fog.

Visibility will be down and people will need to be on guard for that in the morning and rain in the afternoon.

Showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead of a cold front during the ride home from school and work as highs reach the upper 80s. Some showers will be heavy with gusty winds.

Showers and storms remain Wednesday night into Thursday morning.  Lows will be near 70.

Thursday afternoon will become sunnier and slightly less humid.  Highs will be in the low 80s.  Thursday night will become much less humid and set the stage for a beautiful end to the work week.

Friday will be mostly sunny and comfortable with highs near 75. However, rain returns for the Wolverine's home opener at the Big House Saturday. Highs will be in the low 70s.
