Morning road conditions in Metro Detroit

If temperatures drop below freezing, roads may become icy

DETROIT – Michigan State Police is updating road conditions throughout Metro Detroit Friday morning.  Metro area roads are being reported are wet.

MSP reports US-23 from the state line through Ann Arbor to Brighton is wet.  I-696 from I-94 to I-275 is reported as wet.  I-75 from the state line to Detroit, and from M-59 to the Genesee County Line is reported as wet.

I-94 from Ann Arbor to Detroit, and Ann Arbor to Chelsea (M-52) is reported as wet. Also, I-94 from Detroit to Port Huron is reported as wet.

I-96 from Brighton to Detroit, and from I-275 to Detroit is reported as wet.

I-275 from I-75 to Plymouth is reported as wet.

M-14 from I-275 to Ann Arbor is reported as wet.

M-53 from Utica to Imlay City (I-69) is reported as wet.

M-52 from the Washtenaw County Line to I-94, and from I-94 to the Jackson County Line is reported as wet.

If temperatures drop below freezing we could begin to see some slick spots. Bridges and overpasses would be the first to freeze.
