DETROIT -

Hats, scarves and gloves will be needed Wednesday.  Sunglasses will be an added accesory as Detroit skies become mostly sunny.  Morning lows will be near or below freezing, and afternoon highs will be five to ten degrees below average.  Daytime temps will reach the low 40s.

Wednesday night will be fair with temperatures in the low and middle 30s.

Sunshine will reign acrosse Southeast Michigan through the weekend, and this will help highs increase gradually.  Thursday afternoon highs will be near 45.  Friday will be in the upper 40s.  Saturday and Sunday will be near 50.  Michigan and Michigan State football fans will need to dress in blue and green layers, respectively, to stay warm.  Iowas comes to the Big House in Ann Arbor.  Northwestern visits East Lansing.  Highs school playoff football spectators will need to bundle up, too.
