DETROIT -

Wednesday morning will be wet with temperatures in the 50s.  Scattered showers will cruise over Southeast Michigan as afternoon temperatures get close to 70 degrees.  A southwest wind will blow at 9 to 14 mph.

Wednesday night will become partly cloudy and mild with lows in the upper 50s.

Thursday will be sunnier and warmer with highs in the middle and upper 70s.  This will be the warmest day of the week.

A cold front arrives Thursday night and Friday bringing showers and much chillier air.  Friday's highs will barely be 60 degrees.  Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny but chilly during the day and cold at night as the Tigers return for playoff baseball.  Fans going to Comerica Park will need their favorite Tigers hat, sweatshirt and jacket.  Frost is possible north of the Motor City Sunday morning.
