LASALLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A wedding reception in LaSalle Township, Monroe County ended Friday night with bad news for several guests.
While the festivities took place inside LaRoy's Hall, thieves targeted a half-dozen cars in the parking lot. Purses, cash, electronics and a double baby stroller were taken.

When one guest went to the lot. she saw her car had been broken into. She called police and sheriff's deputies found five other cars had their windows broken out and items taken from inside.
In one case, a purse containing an iPhone and $400 in cash was taken.
The damage from broken windows was believed to exceed $2,000.
