Monday cools off with breezy conditions

Windier, chillier conditions return to Detroit

DETROIT – Monday morning will have scattered showers with lows in the upper 40s.  Temps barely budge as chillier air moves in behind a cold front.  Afternoon highs will be in the low 50s.  It will be breezy with a northwest wind 15 to 25 mph.

Monday night will be clearer and colder with lows in the middle 30s.  Wind decreases to 9 to 14 mph.

Tuesday will be sunnier and a bit milder.  It remains cool with afternoon temps closer to 60 degrees.  Tuesday night will be dry for Tigers playoff baseball against the Yankees at Comerica Park.  Fans will need jackets and hats.  

Wednesday's highs will be greater; near 70 degrees.  Another cold front arrives Wednesday night with showers.  Thursday will be cooler with daytime temps back to near 60.
