EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State University police say a university professor was taken into protective custody Monday afternoon and transported to a hospital.
Police say a 911 call at 1:07 p.m. reported the man shouting in the hallway at the Michigan State Engineering Building on campus in East Lansing.
Students tell Local 4 the professor was taking off his clothes while yelling.
No one was injured, MSU police say. The professor has not been charged with any crime.
The university is offering counseling to students who may have witnessed the incident.
