DETROIT -

Two men charged in a non-fatal shooting incident involving a pair of women whose bodies were found over the weekend in Detroit are to appear in court.

Witnesses say Abreeya Brown and Ashley Conaway were forced into a car trunk at gunpoint in late February. Their bodies were discovered in shallow graves on Sunday.

The Wayne County medical examiner's office says the women had been bound and shot to death.

Conaway's ex-boyfriend Brandon Cain and Brian Lee haven't been charged in the women's abduction and killings, but they're charged with shooting at the women's car on Feb. 8.

The men are scheduled to be in Detroit district court at 9 a.m. Friday for a preliminary examination in that case.
