DETROIT -

Citing severe weather out east and in Michigan, Megabus has canceled several trips between cities including Detroit, Chicago and New York.

All Tuesday and Wednesday bus trips in both directions between Chicago, Ann Arbor and Detroit have been canceled. Trips between Grand Rapids, East Lansing and Detroit also have been canceled.

All trips from Toledo to Cleveland, in both directions, have been canceled, too.

By cancelling a long list of trips, Megabus has shut down service on the East Coast for the next two days as cities deal with the aftermath of superstorm Sandy.
