A 27-year-old man has been found shot to death in a car that was parked in an Ypsilanti Township driveway.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Derrick Jackson said the man was found Tuesday night in the 600 block of Calder Avenue.

Local 4 has learned that the man was at the house to visit his best friend. When he went to leave at about 10 p.m., he was shot and killed.

No one else was hurt.

A witness said the man, who they identified as Brandon, had recently been talking about having some sort of problem with someone stemming from an incident that happened on New Year's Eve.
