LENOX TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

Authorities have released a surveillance picture of a man who robbed a 7-Eleven store in Lenox Township with a crowbar.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said the robber entered the store on 26 Mile Road near I-94 Wednesday just before 3 a.m., pulled out a white garbage bag and demanded the clerk put cash in it.

He slammed the crowbar on the counter and told the clerk he would kill her if she didn’t comply.

The clerk wasn’t hurt but the robber got away.

Police didn’t release a detailed description of the robber but said he was wearing a heavy blue coat with a brown hood.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office at 586-307-9358.
