INKSTER, Mich. -

Inkster police continue to search for the person responsible for the shooting death of 32-year-old Raymone Williams.

It happened on the 1300 block of Magnolia around 3:15 a.m. Saturday morning.

Witnesses say Williams was walking his fiancé and his 5-year-old daughter to their car when a man came out of the bushes with a gun.

"My son literally died saving his daughter and his fiancé," said Willams mother, LaWana Williams.

Witnesses say the suspect pointed the gun at Williams daughter and that's when he stepped in. He tried to take the gun but was shot.

"My son is the kind of guy who helped everybody," said LaWana.
