DETROIT -

A 23-year-old man has been arraigned in the slayings of three people inside a suburban Detroit home.

Joshua Manners of Detroit told a 36th District Court judge Tuesday that he wasn't involved in the killings of Shawn Dunlap, 40-year-old Darrell Bulock and 17-year-old Bryant Jones.

They were shot multiple times with an assault rifle Friday night in Redford Township by someone who forced his way into the home, just west of Detroit. Police have said at least one of the victims was targeted by their attacker.

Manners was arrested Saturday. He is charged with three counts each of first-degree murder and felony murder, and home invasion and gun violations.

A preliminary examination has been set for May 1. Manners is being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail.
