A helicopter crashed in a parking lot near Southwest 130th Street and 124th Avenue in Miami-Dade County on Wednesday afternoon, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

The helicopter crashed east of Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport about 4 p.m.

The helicopter was burning when firefighters arrived.

Fire rescue reported that two people were inside the helicopter. Two yellow tarps were laying on the grass. Those tarps are typically used to cover bodies.

Whether anyone was killed or injured wasn't immediately confirmed with fire rescue or police.
