Jonathan Hoffman's dad: 'He was a wonderful son'

The father of 17-year-old Jonathan Hoffman, the teenager who was murdered by his grandmother Sandra Layne, told Local 4 Wednesday we had no regrets about the kind of father he was.

DETROIT -

The father of 17-year-old Jonathan Hoffman, the teenager who was murdered by his grandmother Sandra Layne, told Local 4 Wednesday we had no regrets about the kind of father he was.

Michael Hoffman said, "Jonathan was a wonderful son and would have made a wonderful man."

During the interview Hoffman opened up to Local 4's Roger Weber on several topics including why he allowed his son to move to Michigan and why he was not happy his son moved in with Sandra Layne.

Hoffman's interview can be seen Wednesday on Local 4 News at 6.
