HAMTRAMCK, Mich. -

Hamtramck police say they have one person in custody for questioning as the search for two kidnapped young women continues.

Police said 19-year-old Abreeya Brown and her friend, 21-year-old Alicia Conway, went missing Tuesday night after two men went to a home in the 2200 block of Andrus Street, gunfire rang out and the two were seen being taken away and possibly put into a trunk.

Police had said they were looking for two Detroit men in connection with the case, 25-year-old Abrandon Lewis and 35-year-old Andre Michael Todd-Douglas. Police said one of the men turned himself in Wednesday morning. But they did not say if the person in custody was Lewis or Todd-Douglas.
