PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

A gun was found inside a nursing home piano in Pittsfield Township.

The unloaded weapon was stashed inside the Whitehall Healthcare Center's piano. The piano was donated to the nursing home years ago.

When residents recently opened the piano they found a case with a Ruger .22-caliber pistol inside.

Police said they found no registered owner on file for the gun. They are working to track down the serial number.
